Fiber optic installation for Metro Atlanta businesses.
Single-mode and multimode fiber for the runs copper cannot make: between buildings, across warehouses and from one equipment room to the next. Fusion spliced, OTDR tested and documented.
What we install.
The long links of a network: pulled, spliced, terminated at the rack, tested and labeled at both ends.
- Single-mode and multimode fiber
- Fusion splicing
- OTDR testing with documented results
- Backbone runs between equipment rooms
- Building-to-building and outdoor runs
- Fiber enclosures and patch panels at the rack
Where it fits.
- Distances copper cannot cover.
- A copper network run tops out at about 100 meters, roughly 328 feet. Past that, fiber is the dependable answer.
- Warehouses and distribution floors.
- Long aisles and far corners. Fiber carries the network out to where the scanners, cameras and access points are.
- Between buildings.
- A second building, a gatehouse or a yard. Fiber is the right way to carry a network outdoors: it ignores electrical interference and differences in ground between buildings.
- More speed between equipment rooms.
- When the link between two network rooms becomes the bottleneck, a fiber backbone gives it room to grow.
- Repairs and extensions.
- A damaged run or one that stops short can often be fusion spliced and tested, instead of pulled out and replaced.
- Proof for the closeout package.
- When a project requires test results, OTDR traces go into the handoff with the labels and the as-built notes.
How a job runs.
Walk the site.
We look at pathways, occupied areas, what each system needs and when the work can happen.
Coordinate the plan.
Installation is scheduled around access, operations and the people using the space.
Prove the finish.
Testing, clear labels, photographs and a practical handoff you can keep.
Based in Metro Atlanta and working throughout the Southeast. We work for building owners and retail businesses directly, and as a subcontractor to integrators, general contractors and national service providers.
What customers say.
“Attenus has worked with us on several key projects where the timeframe was critical. The technicians showed great work ethics, were easy to work with, flexible and full of energy. Their knowledge and ability was helpful in installation and training of our new internet based products.”
Agatha S., Dunkin Donuts
“Our dealership has worked with this company on several projects... They always deliver and never disappoint! I would recommend them to any business owner who is looking for Grade A service and products.”
Carol W., Wade Ford
“This company was wonderful!! They installed our new phone systems in one day and showed every staff member how to personally use them. I honestly do not know, what we would have done without them. Thank you so much...”

Questions we hear first.
Do you do fusion splicing?
Yes. We fusion splice fiber for new terminations, repairs and extensions, and test the result.
Single-mode or multimode: which do I need?
Multimode suits shorter runs inside a building. Single-mode carries much farther and is the usual choice between buildings or for very long runs. We look at the distances and the equipment on both ends, then recommend the one that fits.
How far can fiber run?
Far beyond copper's limit of about 100 meters. Multimode covers in-building distances of a few hundred meters, and single-mode runs for kilometers.
Can you replace or extend fiber that is already in place?
Yes. Tell us what is there and what it connects. We look at the pathway, the fiber type and the hardware on each end before recommending removal, reuse or a new run.
What should I have ready before we talk?
The location, the two points you need to connect and roughly how far apart they are, the equipment on each end if you know it, and your target schedule.
Do you work outside Metro Atlanta?
Yes. We are based in Metro Atlanta and work throughout the Southeast, often as a subcontractor for integrators, general contractors and national service providers. Tell us where the site is.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Attenus holds a Georgia unrestricted low-voltage contractor license and carries insurance, and a certificate of insurance is available on request.
Is the fiber tested?
Yes. We test fiber with an OTDR, and the results come to you with the labels and the closeout documentation.
Tell us the two points.
Where the run starts, where it ends and what it has to carry. We will walk the path with you.
